Welcome to the 2026 / 2027 of the Arizona Legacy Pride Hockey Association (ALPHA) fall / winter season! We are so happy that you are here! We are looking forward to a great season filled with fun and memories!
Divisions?
We do not do that here. This is Non-Divisional Hockey and all skill levels (and abilities) are welcome.
Its about Respect
This is INCLUSIVE HOCKEY! We are based as a safe space for LGBTQ+ community members (or even those questioning) to play hockey and have fun. Non-LGBTQ+ folks are allowed to join us! We break down what we expect of EVERY player during our mandatory Orientation as far as atmosphere and behavior- what is tolerated, what will be helped and what is unacceptable.
Talking about 1,2,3
As we are non-divisional we utilize what we have called the 1-2-3 rule (this largely applies to our more skilled players, but always try your hardest).
Period 1- take it easy, don't knuckle down.
Period 2- turn it up a bit.
Period 3- turn it on (by 3rd period the new players are quite exhausted and can't keep up and also the experienced players need to work a little harder by now as well.
Other Important Things
We also do not allow Slap Shots from ABOVE the waist. Other than that- Tag up offsides and standard USA Hockey sanctioned rules for recreational hockey.

We are excited that you are here and can not wait to get the season started!
Some items of note. You all may notice that the days and times have not been announced. As we are looking to expand our hockey family to six teams we are working on securing more ice. This may mean we change to another day most likely Friday and then have one game Saturday to complete everyone’s games. We will still have games in the evening.
The season again will run from August 2026 to March 2027. For the cost of registration which is listed below (along with payment plan options) you will get:
1) Custom Jersey
2) Skate Evaluations
3) 3 Pre Season clinics
4) 15 regular season games
5) Additional Game and a Championship or a consolation game (17 game season)
Pricing for the season:
Early Bird Pricing - June 19th to July 31st at 1159pm $535 No payment plan option, must pay in full
Regular Price - August 1st, 2026 Full Payment $550
Four Payment Plan Option Total - $575
Three Payment Plan Option Total - $565
Goalie - $275
Please note that pricing does not include your fee to register with USA Hockey. The total price of which this year is $64.
