MISSION STATEMENT
The Arizona Legacy Pride Hockey Association is an adult developmental ice hockey league for people of all cultures, sexualities and gender identifications. We are especially committed to providing opportunities for those who have historically felt uncomfortable in traditional sports settings to learn and teach ice hockey in a safe, supportive, and fun environment. We aspire to the highest standards of sportsmanship and promote integration of the wider Phoenix Valley community into the LGTBQIA+ community.

The Arizona Legacy Pride Hockey Association invites and welcomes people of all backgrounds and skill levels to participate in our LGBTQ+ community hockey association. That INCLUDES first time skaters and people new to ice hockey!
We are a non-profit group that will break 3 big barriers for people like us from getting into sports. First, we strive to be culturally diverse and representative of Arizona. This includes initiatives like recruiting Trans* people, BIPOC and people of color. Also we strive to create an inclusive and welcoming community for all players. This includes holding ourselves, fans, partners and players to the highest standards. Second, we will work to drive down costs with the help of donations. Lastly, we are seeking and encouraging beginners to join the league for an opportunity to learn about hockey. Players brand new to skating and hockey can enjoy recreational play, competitive spirit and an opportunity to develop skills with experienced hockey players. Safety, fun, accessibility and accountability are our main focuses.
