Applicants will be required to write an essay on who they are, what queer hockey means to them, and their pledge to suit up and show up on the scholarship awarded for the season.

• ALL PLAYERS WHO ARE AWARDED A SCHOLARSHIP MUST VOLUNTEER FOR AT LEAST ONE ALPHA EVENT
• ALL PLAYERS WHO ARE AWARDED A SCHOLARSHIP MAY NOT MISS MORE THAN 4 GAMES FOR THE SEASON

(Applicants who do not participate in the requirements may not be eligible for another scholarship with ALPHA. Depending on the lack of commitment a scholarship may be revoked if deemed so by the board.)
